Going ‘Poo Free’ seems to be a real trend at the moment – people are not using commercial (synthetic) shampoos and their hair is feeling all the better for it.
Some people go for broke and use nothing at all on their hair except for water – after a while the oils will balance out and your hair will become manageable and pleasant to look at and touch.
Others use a dilute solution of baking soda with a dilute vinegar rinse and again, it may take a couple of weeks for the natural oils to balance and leave your hair looking good.
However, if you want to avoid the commercial shampoos with their oil-stripping detergents and other chemicals that may irritate the scalp, but don’t fancy going cold-turkey on hair products, then one of our new Soapnut Shampoo bars could be the answer.
These lovely bars are made with Soapnuts and a variety of plant-based oils and essential oils. All three can be used on both the hair and the skin:-
Coconutty Soapnut Shampoo Bar – This one is for coconut fans everywhere! A beautifully constructed shampoo with loads of coconut milk for superior lather and rice bran oil and jojoba oil for added conditioning properties. When you feel like you need a little bit of extra sunshine pamper yourself with this shampoo and our brand new Sea Salt & Coconut soap and get transported away to sunnier climes.
Dead Sea Soapnut Shampoo Bar – Along with the amazing cleansing and conditioning ingredients that all of our shampoo bars contain, we have also added rice bran oil for those of you all with hair that can be dry or brittle. If that wasn’t yummy enough, we have also added a generous helping of dead sea mud with its 35 minerals to make your hair feel clean, healthy and restored. Dead sea mud will hydrate and strengthen your hair and make it look and feel years younger! Oh by the way, it smells DIVINE!
Lemon & Avocado Soapnut Bar – Is your hair just not quite behaving? Doesn’t know whether its oily or dry? This is the shampoo for you! Gently cleansing without stripping your hair and replacing any lost moisture for a beautiful head of fresh, bouncy and nourished hair. The added avocado oil is amazing for hair and skin and is rich in vitamins A, D, E, B6, Magnesium, Copper, Iron, Amino Acids, Folic Acid all essential for hair growth and nourishment. I literally have nothing else left to say except … Enjoy!
They do sound gorgeous – will have to try one when my current shampoo (our lovely Seaweed one) runs out.
